Jonathan, do you have a list of possible fueling locations along the route? I know a number of the Long Island guys are going to be bringing some big power and will likely need to refuel along the way.. I know Newburgh Yacht Club has gas but will they will be open?

New burgh will have fuel, West shore marina in marlboro (15 miles north of new burgh) , Hyde park marina in Poughkeepsie( 15 miles north of Marlboro) , and kingston are confirmed fuel locations as of today.

I NEED FEEDBACK !!!

How many people would be interested in VIDEO of the event , edited and distributed via YOUTUBE ?

I have done this is the past with other events where each boat paid $100 to be included in the video.

The more boats the more footage the more editing time.

I figure if I have a minimum of 60 boats @ $100 a boat we can cover the expenses to produce a nice video of the day.

Any onboard footage would be welcomed as well. The more angles the better when it comes to editing a video.

If by chance we get no footage of your boat for the video I can offer a refund of $50 or a credit towards any Still Photography I may have.

I have a person lined up to be in the chopper with me for video duties should we meet the minimum amount of boats and if it looks definite I may look into having more than just my DLSR and sports cams for shooting. At times we could have two video recorders running as I may switch back & forth should I feel I have enough stills.

But first let's see if we can make it can make it happen ?

Who would be in for Video ???

As far as onboard footage, I talked to Neil about running two go pro's off his 47 fountain. One in windshield and one angling off the back side of his boat. Hope to get some good action. Looking forward to this

My recommendation is run them like that on the way to lunch then mix it up for the ride back after lunch.
This way you end up with 4 camera angles. If you stop along the way then move the cameras again and you will end up with 6 camera angles plus chopper footage...
