I've made a few more calls trying to find a spot on the east side of the river to launch and none of those are options, so it looks like I will have to go with the rest of the gang at Stony Point but launch as close to high tide as possible. My parents live in Rockland, so I'm going to see if I can get my dad to go check it out. Ironically, I think I will be up there on the 16th for my fathers 80th birthday. Assuming this works out, I think I will have 8 guys in my boat.

FatherB68....... or any one else who is a regular at Stoney Point. Is there a contact I can call over there ? I'm considering having boat towed up a day or two earlier so the morning of I don't have to rush around and get crazy. I would come up the morning of with my pickup and just splash it. Then have it picked up the following day........ I remember them having PLENTY of room but just want to let someone know my plan........

call the marina. 845-429-0100. ask for Eric. Tell him that you are coming up for the fun run . I'm sure he can help with whatever you need.

My boy Johnny right here spoke to them and I think we're all good to go.. now we just need weather to cooperate.. on the one hand, really looking forward to this run... on the other hand, that will mean its October... see you all in a month..
