Default Who's on Winnipesaukee?

Anybody on Winni, while there are sill regulations, we are actively trying to bring performance back to the lake? Lets go fill up the docks and take them back from the pontoons!

Would like to come down and do a weekend on Winni possibly late into June, or late August depending on our schedule.. I've heard it's an awesome time, just be cautious when not in the Broads..

And you better have mufflers! Probably tell Ryan to leave his home too!

They don't get to fussy unless you are being and ass, great place to boat without salt.

Yeah, you are more likely to get bothered for no mufflers than speed. I don't honestly know if my boat passes the noise test with the mufflers in or not, but I have passed several marine patrol boats and nobody has bothered me. I think just having something to quiet them down is enough to keep them happy. Now with no mufflers, I would be pinched near instantly. Make an effort to maintain the 150 foot rule and don't blatantly break the speed limit in congested areas and you will be just fine.

If i use my silent choice around the docks and open them up when underway is that usually ok? I am running a single 500 I'm only there midweek.

Midweek you may get away with it, but I wouldn't bet on it. My brother in law had a 29 with a 500 EFI, he got pegged pretty quick. Better off to buy some cheap slip-in mufflers for the time you are there. I run the GGB's and they seem to be enough.

They changed the law. Silent choice is legal, as long as the boat passes in the open position.

Great, but wished they did this long time ago. Very frustrating and expensive for many of us.
