looking for info on a good ramp/parking east side of river north of the Tap. I will be coming down from western Mass with Ktron and his 32 DW. We are thinking that launching on the east side will save us lots of time since we are day tripping.

George's Island State Park Boat Launch looks like a good spot. I believe year's ago this is where this run got it's start with Mahopac Marine. Looks very familiar....

Hey Apexwarrior. Panco fuel dock within a mile south of where we are all launching has 93 octane. I just called them and asked if they will be open Saturday and she said "I'm sure someone will be here". Whatever that means. It's on the west side of the river and has a huge white tank that says Panco

anyone get the name of the place that I think Jonathan (fatherb68) said was just north of the mid Hudson bridge on the east side? I just want to call and verify they will be open and that they do in fact have 93. If they aren't open I will be calling sea tow shortly passed there !!!!

Run leaves for lunch no later than 1130am...suggest you get there early for registration and launching boat.....we will be at ramp no later than 7-730am getting ourselves setup for everyone coming in.

I talked to Jonathan yesterday, the only certain fuel stop along the way with other than 89octane is right up where we are having lunch and that is 91octane.
