The Dish to pass picnic has been changed due to strict speed and noise enforcment on Kueka Lake. We will have the picnic at Sampson State park (Seneca Lake), same day same time (Sept 19th. 12pm). After lunch we will be heading South to the Tikki Bar for some refreshments. Sorry for the inconvenience. I urge all to attend. Last years event proved to be one heck of a good time.

I am curious as to the "strict speed and noise enforcement" on Keuka Lake. Do you have any stories to share? I was thinking on going down to the Seaplane Homecoming on Sept. 18, 2004. This might be a deterent. I like to avoid tickets as it spoils the day.
Thanks, Russ

As you may know Keuka has a 45 mph speed limit. It is my understanding that the Yates Co. Sheriffs patrol has issued a unusually high number of speed violations. They have also been very "firm" about the noise regultions i.e. under 90 dec. and the quick and quiet BS. Unfortunetly Keuka has Mr. Kuhl as a resident and as may have heard he is a very strong contender in the fight against performance boating. Simply put....he hates us. With that being said...have a fun trip to keuka.
