Hey guys hate to butt in if this is a priviate group but was reading about race in Mi . Would a fellow hoosier be welcome? I have a older stinger prob. doesnt run as fast as you guys. Where can I dock launch and so on .I not familiar with the area or rules and laws. Thanks

Everybody is welcome! Dock space is going to be the big problem...no place to stay in Michigan City or New Buffalo. Marina Shores in Portage has plenty of slips about 10-12 miles west.

Tenatively, Kathy and I will be going. Still trying to find out where we can dock the boat for Saturday night..We Will be boating down from Milwaukee early Saturday morning. Anyone from Chicago planning on boating over there together?? If so would like to join the group!! LT 262-206-7068

I'm staying at Buddies house over by the Casino, should be out on saturday afternoon. Have to figure out what I'm using for transportation, so i can get around town the best.

Was wondering if my boat is regersterd in IN . Is there any coast guard rules,or anything else I need to be aware of to be legal in lake michigan? Wheres the best place to launch from?

If you are registered in any state, you are good for Indiana. CG rules are simply all safety equipment and safe boating practices. I would imagine CG and the county police will be out in force.
