My hope is that the Army corp keeps the water level up at normal pool. Last year it was waaay down. Had to fix my props due to hittng small rocks etc. Have run the same props since 07 with no need to repair. I have run the chain for over 25 yrs.

How small is your little boat? I went over there today and the place was underwater. I have a 288 Sunsation and was thinking about their in/out service. Just moved back here from MI and my boats a little bigger now than when I used to cruise the river.

Gordy introduced himself to me and said that the channel was the worst part of getting out of there. I'm not trying to tear my boat up either.

I need in and out service as I will unfortunately be boating alone a lot until I build some friendships up in IL so dropping it alone will be a PITA. They seem to be the most reasonable for inside storage and in and out. Marie seems very nice as well.

Thanks guys.

I have a 18 foot sugar sand jet boat. There are some large boats that I saw last year at inland. 38 Powerquest and some large cruisers stay there. I think you would be fine just need to stay trimmed up. I only had my Powerquest on the chain once. I would like to find out what hazards to stay away from before I take my PQ there again.
