Let's see Pics of your OE

Thank you Mark.
Twistman, (if you have the time to answer)
Hows that poker run edition comming along that one you posted pics of. Im sure we would all like to see that bad boy.
If you dont mind me asking why have you steered away from the 12' beam?
I see the the widest is 11' per specs on your site.
What are the tunnel widths of your new designs? (38'+)
What determines tunnel width?
Is there a universal formula that cat manufactures use?
Or is it the designers preference?
One more who came up with the name "Starship" or I should say how did it come about.
Personally I like its different.
Thank you
AL.

The wider the tunnel the larger the wing. It packs more air by increasing the lift surface or area of the wing.
The pad or extra foot on the back of the 39 should also have been on the 48. Or the width of the tunnel itself should haved been increased.
The Actives, which is an OE, did not have the extra 1 foot of pad on the transom which made those a 38.

What is interesting about OE's is that Ross was ahead of his time. All OE's had steps from the early 80's on. The steps only seem to be functional at moderate speeds.
Cig,s Nortec's Outerlimits, Fountains, MTI etc only started in the last 5 or so years.
Steps trace back in history as early as the 1930's(if not earlier).

When were the Actives and the Express Cats made?
How many of each where made?
And is the extended pad the only design difference?
Is there a noticable difference in the ride between the two?
Thank you

Only a few Actives made. All without the pads. I understand there is a difference but have not experienced it myself.
I have no clue as to how many OE's are out thee.
