Make sure you relocate the starters to the top of the motors...Are you going with water-jacketed exhaust? Dry exhaust is a fire hazard on turbine boats, plus your insurance will be astronomical.

Thanks for the welcome.. i agree water jaceted is a must. as far as insurance goes I am in VA. i have a car dealership and have added motorcyle sales in the past.. i will add boat dealer as well .Raise my dealership coverage some and blanket the boat.. also no properety tax.. it will be in inventory and for sale.. after all isnt everthing for sale for the right price anyway..as far as budget if i can keep all the work in house under 100k.i know good luck with that...lol..

You might call Jeff Stevenson of JBS Racing. He's trying to sell his Mystic and might part it out. He's got BPMs not Arnesons but they should work on your boat.

new to the forum.. looking for advice.. just purchesed an older 88 model 39 OE, going under the knife. looking to modernize it a bit. the deck , winshield and interior are no problem.. question is, if you had an opportunnity to modify the running surface what if anything could be done. not that it is not a great hull design , but over twenty years later i just wonder.
