Default new project

new to the forum.. looking for advice.. just purchesed an older 88 model 39 OE, going under the knife. looking to modernize it a bit. the deck , winshield and interior are no problem.. question is, if you had an opportunnity to modify the running surface what if anything could be done. not that it is not a great hull design , but over twenty years later i just wonder.

Do you have any history on it? Looks like it was a diesel boat in an earlier incarnation.

bought it on ebay out of jersey.. supposedly it was stripped by the previous owner before it was going to be repoed..it was left in a storage lot and the bank ended up sending the title to the yard owner after seeing the boat.. not sure of all the truth to it but i purchased the boat with a clean and clear title.. not sure about the diesel part but it is going back together with turbines.

Wwell at least you have a clear title that's great! From the size of the exhaust pipe hole I though it might have been a diesel boat, but it could have had gas motors with Y pipes too. Come to think of it you don't see may diesel OEs...

What turbines will you use and who's going to build them? I know who I would use...
