411 miles.Guessing 5 1/2 hours .We are trying to get some buds and make the trip.We use to ride/race sport bikes on the hills there.The cops there were pretty friendly,didnt take me to jail

I have no idea, I haven't been there in years, but it is considered to be a pretty good party lake from what I've heard over the years. Just be sure to stock up on your drinks before you arrive. See Yall there!

anybody know how deep it is on the main straight where the spectator boats will be anchored? I'll email Kitty too

I've got a map in my bat bag that I'll check later but the lake "was" well over pool just weeks ago and that whole area from memory was plenty deep. Maybe 20-30' in the shallow spots but much deeper in most spots. And last summer when I was there last it was at or just below normal pool. Last pictures I saw, some ramps were under water and closed.

Can anybody confirm if the spectating should be better from land (FFB?) or one of the two designated areas for the boats? I understand the land side has a cooler policy but I can get over that for the day
