ScottB,
Don't be sooooo mad... You still owe me a beer and I plan to collect, and I don't care if you are "mad" at me...

Still your friend, Ben (hey... that rhymes)

Randy,

Is it true there was only 4 boats in SVL class in Biloxi? I thought OSS was only run a class if they had 5 boats or more? Boat looks great good luck this year and be safe. We'll see you in Key West...

I'm not mad at you Ben. I will make good on that beer.
I really haven't had much to say lately. I am just gonna do my thing with my little boat this year and have fun.
Every once in a while I will throw in my .02. I am just a little ticked because I loved to race and be at the site with 70-100 boats because the atmosphere was electric and the excitement non stop. From the looks of things, it doesn't matter where we race, those days are gone at least for now.
Now I am hoping for 40 boats. Oh well maybe Key West will have at least 60. Don't you remember how awesome Savannah, St Pete, etc last year, everywhere you looked in the Hotel, the streets, the Pits, there were uniforms and people talking racing. Thats why I am pissed. I am done with the blame game, WE ALL SUCK for letting this happen

I've always kept an eye on SVL...It's a great class, good sized boats, reasonable costs, fast competitive racing and safety with a lid. It's a hot class. Have fun with it.

Good post, Scott.

Scott, Dont get me wrong. 100k for a boat is still stupid money for the average Joe like us. Im saying only if you can afford to do it would it be a great bang for the buck. Anyone that has been to my house says Im nuts. I have a nice 3 bedroom home but the money I have in my boats is more than my house. Its just how much I love racing boats.
