Default P Class is gone

Scare ya????? No More P, Looking for a more professional approach. Loose all the P's

The classes will be identified by..
100
200
300
400
500
600

Example Typhoon P4-29 will now be 429

We are now Xtreme Offshore sanctioned by OPA

This is in effect as of today. I know most of you have been anxious to remove those P's, so letter rip. We are working on the new X logo we will have them for the worlds. Smitty

Good job! ORL will also loose the traditional F1 prefix. We'll unveil the new factory class insignia in Destin. Looking forward to it guys!

Thumbs up Re: P Class is gone

This makes sense. This is the number designation system utilized to distinguish classes in off road racing. The boats will look more professional;and combined with the Xtreme Offshore name ,will be more marketable to sponsors.Great job Smitty and OPA.

My .02 as a former P class racer the word XTREME is over used and kind of cheesey. I like the idea of changing the numbers though. If anyone needs new numbers for DESTIN I can make them for you. OPA has done a great job with an Awesome series.

Smitty Im glad we are finally losing the "P". we dont need it

I agree, that the word Xtreme is definately overused. Are you looking to rename the association or just replace the name Performance class?
