OK work with me here Ron maybe I'm a little slow
If I finish 7th in a race I will only receive 53 points and someone that has 2 boats in there class comes in 2nd they receive 91 points? Now after 3 races and the finish was the same order I would have 159 points and the other boat would have 273 points. Now how can I possibly ever catch up after 6-8 races. The worst that boat could get is 91 points per race in a 2 boat class.
After a 6 race series the worst the other boat would get is 546 points for last place. He would have raced against a total of 6 boats.
After a 6 race series and I average a 3rd place not last I would get 510 points but had to race against 42 other boats.
Which do you think is harder to win in??
Maybe I have lost my mind again but the math just doesn't seem to work for me.
If I won every race it works fine but if I break once and come in last just one the seasons over for the points race.
Do the math with 20 boats in one class and 3 in another if that helps.

Actually, Randy has made loosing into an art form. He's taken loosing to an all new level. I guess you could say that Randy is the best looser in all of boat racing.

Lets see some good solid suggestions.
