This is the OPA National Points Championship
Chattanooga is the US Open Championships open to all.
Points Championships will be decided in Cambridge for the year and then a clean slate for Chattanooga. Smitty can correct me if I am wrong, but OPA feels that until there is an international contingent as well as Unification, the World Championship title is in name only. Chattanooga is what it is, A US Open Championship event open to all

I think this is the way it should be. Even though we won the "OPA, POPRA, OSS Class 2 World Championship" last year, it was really nothing more than racing against 5 boats. Certainly not a global event. The US Open Championship is more representative of what is going on in the sport right now. That being said, We did beat Louie!

You Fargin Bastages!! well let me re-phrase that. Yes you did win the Destin World Championship for class 2. And I have to take my hat off to you guys, you ran hard and even though in race one we were in another time zone we were so far ahead. You guys had the tenacity and fortitued to try again in race two, and it payed off! When we broke in lap five, I sat up on the bow of the boat and waited for you guys to come by and you guys looked good. lol. Kidding aside you guys raced 5 bad ass boats and teams that came there to win and you won.
Team Wahoo are the 2006 OPA Class 2 World Champions be proud!
