Its funny....I heard a lot about Tyler in class 6 and how unfair it is....but when you look at the results....only 2 boats made every race in class 6, Tyler and a one design....
and Undertow finished less then 50 pionts behind Tyler....
So actually....if Undertow could have made the 1st race which everyone got 50 points.....611 Undertow would have won the points championship.....and I could be wrong...but is this not the boat who was sinking when it came in at Point Plesant with all the hull damage....and what would the standings have looked like if all Class 6 boats made all the races.....Tyler may have dropped to 3 or 4th place in the point standings...
Now don't get me wrong...I believe there has to be a cap on HP to keep it fair....but with big HP you loose reliablity.....but thats up to the officals to decide on....

I could be wrong here, but wasn't class 4 dominated by phantoms all with either 500 hp's or 525's ? There will be no huge power crushing classes. There are a number of teams that will be stepping up this year. They just dont know it yet. You ran well in that class, for your first year of racing, in the Phantom. Hang in there. Smitty
Thanks Smitty Scott and I and our families had a great time this year. We did run well looking forward to June

See you in feb

Thanks

[QUOTE I do think class 6 and 5 should be a pump gas class. This will help. .[/QUOTE]
Makes sense to me, didn't know anyone was running fuel in 5 0r 6.

Race gas might be cheaper by the time racing season starts. Plus the engines will probally last longer and save a lot of pistons and head gaskets especially with the guys turning higher RPM.
