Phil was my Uncle, Kevin was his best friend. My uncle has been racing boats for 30 years. If this boat wasn't cut out for this race, then why would he try? I don't understand. If anyone has details on this type of accident, can you please tell me how with all the safety precautions, that he could die??
I read somewhere the windshield blew out? True? Not true?

I have been trying to assist in any way that I can.
I have submitted all of the photos I have to the detectives as well as the STARS Rescue Team in hope that they will get the answers you need.
May God give you strength and bless both Phil and Kevin at this time...

Was away when I got the call. Was in the Pocono's with Jack's youngest son Travis celebrating his 8th birthday. His boys are so proud of their Dad and the accomplished racer he was. It makes me smile when I hear them talk about him. When I heard about the accident my heart immediatly started to feel that greif when you lose a teammate and friend. We know it to well. Our condolences to the Aero Express Team, Phil and Kevin's family and friends.
