Actually the wings do not offer any aerodynamic lift. We've asked before around SVL circles and i do understand how its a bit of a gray area with that hull. I dont believe it would be any faster then traditional SVL's but the do handle well. Its really a fun boat and it would be nice to get one into a spec class.

I have no problem with a bat boat. As long as the top speed is equal with the rest of us,bring it in my opinion only.

I would have to really question the canopy system, before it ran the SVL class with a big block.

Dean and Dave, The more I think about it why wouldnt we want the bat boats in? Parity rules,it works. Now do you know of any takers if Smitty says yes that we can count on? 92MPH is 92 in my book. We will all be running GPS systems so whats the differance. Multipal steps carry weight so wings will as well unless they test with Smitty and you are with in our speed range.

Dean the spare tire may be the deal breaker. Even if I had the spare tire the 35 PSI might be a problem. That cost $1.00 at the stations in NJ.

Smitty i was speaking of the 28, its a whole different boat. To date the only ones i have seen had f-16 style canopys. We would have to build a custom canopy for one of the exhisting 28s, more like the current SVL's not the 24 with the doors. Anyway i'm just tossing the question out there as Chris an I have talked about it several times. As of yet theres no immediate plans but i am aware of two or three hulls that would be perfect candidates so ya never know.

Randy thanks I'm sure it could be worked out. Speed wise i would think thats right about where they would fall or at the very least tuned to that number. I raced a 28 in Havasu with a cabin and a 600hp inovation and it ran mid 80's but that was with a DPX Douprop drive, Bravos would faster. What is the min weight?

Rules say only XR or Imco. Also there are prop restrictions.
