On a serious note;I say draw for lanes at the first race of the season;and then invert the starting positions based on points at each subsequent race. The pole position would always go to the team that is last in points in going into that particular race.Teams making thier first ever start could start 100 yards back behind the line up.In my opinion, this format would create more position changes during the course of a race. It would result in some different front runners in all the classes. and also tighten up the battle for the high points championship.I think this would create exciting racing for the racers and the fans, and make for great TV coverage too!Starting positions are very important; particularly in bracket racing where everyone is capable of running the top speed for thier class.I think under this format the race would not always be won in the first few turns of the first lap.

Maybe you should have the inside so you can see.
o i forgot about your booster seat that i got you for christmas so you will have to go to the out side.
But maybe you can cut across before the first turn like they do in svl.
opps did i say that out loud.
And that remark about my helmet and turn marker being the same well
And you said you were my friend im really hurt

I thought of a few things to mention. This was discussed at 2010 Feb. meeting, gps wiring was going to inspect for anyone with "incorrect wiring or the blue wire" connected to a rpm/speed limiting device/engine ECM or who knows what else. I would like to see this enforced for 2011, even if some have to move the gps/wiring so it is visible to an OPA offical. Also had an idea of "rotating" gps units at every race, no name tags, but a random pick.
