WOW!! I think we need to set up a slot car track for the off season. I mean holy crap everybody must be bored or need something competitive to do cause this thread has turned into some serious rambling on and on and on. lol.

It is however an interesting read.

BTW we are going to be racing Icebergs in Feburary if anybody is interested.

You got it Johnny - as probably the heaviest Class 5 hull out there, I'd probably have to get Steve to build ANOTHER 100 horsepower, then how's the drive going to handle that?

As you know, it's not just top speed, but accelleration out of the turns, a 1979 boat has a lot of resin mass to get back up to speed.

We're in for 2013, but at 80 MPH, we're out.
