I think a 39 foot limit is fair, especially considering you guys did well in 3 this year. I understand your predicament if 3 were too vanish, but if there;s good racing in 3 in 2013 I don't see why you'd come to 4.

I am hoping bull,TKO,along with anyone else will remain in the class Johnny I've watched you race and know it would be fun racing against you. truely fast fun racing. I'm thinking your new boat would be competitive in class 3.

Ok soo what everyone seems to be saying is that I am practically the same boat as 531. You all know it I'm not going into detail but I run blowers so i am immediately moved to class 4 which I knew that last year but just couldn't get the boat together. This year I will run 4 and your telling me I pretty much don't have a shot running against a bigger boat over 40ft. What happened to the sportsman type racing I was told would be going on. I'm a bit confused my tiny blower boat has no chance of winning unless everyone breaks or breaks out.

Please clarify

Ntrsspray you will be fine in class 4 the only time you could have a problem is in real big water and thats the same in every class there is boat that will do better in big water.

Just remember make it run the number and get there as fast as you can .

In my opion this post has morphed into somthing eles which is fine but i dont think you are going to see any major class changes for 2013 but this makes for good reading and it gets everybody fired up.:signs069:

Will it matter that a new owner is running the boat.. Is he a boat racer?

Thanks Mako for the opportunity to introduce myself. As the new owner of Mighty Macs, I'll offer that I ran competitively and won in APBA Class 5 hydroplane (115 mph). I'll defer to the future opinion of my class 5 peers as to whether I am a boat racer as that is a title earned rather than claimed.

I have much to learn from the master, Eddie, and we have several days planned to break me in. Then, on to Ocean City where we both look forward to taking that inside lane. Will be at the Awards Banquet, so very much looking forward to meeting everybody then.
