You know, Kevin got into SVL racing BECAUSE of Randy and Jim Simmons. Throughout this year, we have gotten to know Dave, Travis, Matt, and Frank. After the 2011 season, Tug It, Octane, and Pirate all got their 525's rebuilt by Mercury. This winter, Randy has gotten his rebuilt by Mercury. I am confident that Wild Ride, and now the other 4 of us ALL have sealed 525's. We have NO problem with anyone checking our engines. Jim and Randy have worked very hard to get our class to where it is today. Kevin and I will support them, just have they have done us. OPA's SVL class, is the best spec race class, period!

Are you saying that not every SVL in the OPA fleet have seals last year?

Not at all. However, I am saying that Pirate, Tug It, Typhoon, Octane, Wild Ride , and Buccaneer Pawn ALL have sealed factory Mercruiser 525's. We became good friends with these racers, and know that their engines are ALL sealed. The other boat(s) that raced within our class, we did not get to know, AS WELL. So, I can not speak for those other boats/racers.

Why? Because I don't want people trying to discredit our class?

Maybe we can do a cartoon video of guy's looking at a GPS running at 1/2 throttle calling themselves racers.
Now that is funny!

You just insulted probably 90% of SBI and OPA.
Think its easy?
COME DO IT! Kick all our asses! Like to see ya try.
Bracket racing is about finesse. My throttleman has been in the game since 1982, ask him the hardest thing hes had to do, hell say Class 5. Hell also say hes had the most fun doing it.
The guys who have spun or been ejected or stuffed in bracket racing must not know where the edge is either.
