Thanks to OPA and all of the teams for a great first season for the class.CLASS 7 participated in four races... with a total of seven registered teams..and we had three different winners. Our goal is to have at least ten registered teams by the start of the 2014 season!

Congratulations to all the CLASS 7 Teams and to all the folks behind the scenes that make this exciting sport happen.
The Class 7 seems to be the new CLASS of the future. Hopefully the 2014 season will find it's way to South Florida so I
can enter the competition with my Defender 21' Scout. I firmly believe the new 21' Scout would be fierce competitor and help promote the new upcoming Class 7.
Good luck in the upcoming 2014 season !!!

Thank you for the invitation Sir. I really believe the Class 7 will take off in a big way next year. My boat will be finished before the 2014 season so lets see what I can do.
I am also working on the Defender Powerboats web site now and soon will have some more pictures and pricing for the 21' Scout (Race & Pleasure) versions.

Is there anyone looking for a class 7 boat? I have a 1993 21ft checkmate looking to sell cheap because i hate the boat and it hates me even more.
Long story shot the engine looses water pressure when on plane. I think the problem is with the low water pickup being restricted because its the only parts not replaced. when the boat is driving at no wake speed or at idle i have 7-9 psi in the head. trailer has all new bunks and tires. Hull is rock stolid with no rot. I wanted to race it but just want it out of my life now.
Ill sell it for 4000 obo

I have acquired an old 22 velocity, Was a sterndrive boat,, however its rotten everywhere, Is this worth putting in a transom, and some gussets, along with a new floor, to try and compete in the class 7 wars? What engine and steering setup would work best on this? Or is someone else more interested in it than I am. I was trying to focus more on my Corsa. Need to have something racing this year.
