Long story shot the engine looses water pressure when on plane. I think the problem is with the low water pickup being restricted because its the only parts not replaced. when the boat is driving at no wake speed or at idle i have 7-9 psi in the head. trailer has all new bunks and tires. Hull is rock stolid with no rot. I wanted to race it but just want it out of my life now.
Ill sell it for 4000 obo

200hp or above should do nicely with this Hull as the class limit is 65 (I think).. Transom, knees and floor should be pretty easy on that boat.. plus its a race boat so the work dont have to be pretty.

started in on the 22' Velocity today. Got plenty o rot to lose, but on the plus side, I will know exactly what I got when done. I will probably go w my own transom knee plan. But does anyone have some inner transom pics, from an outboard 22 ?

BilgeRat,
I hate to send anyone to another site, but on Scream and Fly, under the Fiberglass & Composit section, there is 5 pages of info on redoing a 22 Velocity transom. One of the posters use to work for Velocity and has alot of good information.
Hope you can join us in class 7!!!
