Default Clint Wright Celebration of Life

Hey Everyone,

Here is a reminder about the celebration of life for Clint.

A Celebration of Life event will be held at the Cheshire Crab on Sunday, September 21, 2014, from 1PM to 5PM.

They have asked that any race team that is planning on attending wear their team jerseys.

I have to say that I really like the fact the " newer way" of celebrating someone's life is way better than the funeral fare well good bye's. Its not how long we live but how well we lived. Anyone that I have ever meet that has raced boats has always been someone that has wanted the most out of life IMO. To reach out to do what 99.9% of what many dream of doing is living. Clint is with a very small list of people that always said they would love to do something and made it happen. We will all, someday when its our time be together smiling and telling story's about boating. Clint, Keep the beer cold for the rest of us and never bet against Typhoon with your new friends.

I really liked Clint and looked forward to shooting the breeze with him and Jimmy at every race. In AC we drank a bunch of him and Jimmy's beer in the shade at their camper. Had a terrific day. We WILL be there to celebrate.

Much better than what I heard on the radio today what a funeral home has done out in the midwest. "A DRIVE THRU WINDOW" I couldn't believe what I was hearing...

I am unable to attend this celebration, but I am sure it will continue at the Solomons Races next month and many races thereafter.

God bless Clint.....

We wish we could be there, sending our deepest condolences to the friends and family of our fallen brother.
