Is Unification Possible?

Not surprisingly, it has not worked out for anyone very well. With no real hope in sight of any change.

In all fairness i don't think its due too lack of trying on opa's party? Smitty has extended the olive branch many times to all inviting them to race for free and just come and have fun. Some teams have taken him up on the offer and stayed some haven't.but most important he tried and should be given credit for it.

I don't disagree with that BUT the OPA model is not one that will properly grow the sport and bring it to a professional level. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think any of the Orgs. since APBA Offshore LLC are are capable of getting there either. And everyone who was around saw what happened to the LLC and would never make that mistake again. So there really is no good answer at this point and the OPA is by far the best place to race as a racer...unless you live in Florida.

No, it is just convenient for the Florida guys to race with SBI, regardless of the actual racing. You would probably race there too if you lived there. And the racers are mostly great people, just like in OPA.
