That is great! I didn't realize you had that name on the Velocity. I have always been awed by the way you run that boat-it always flys flat and it looks like you are out for a pleasure ride . Good luck to you and Paul in the upcoming races. I need to speak to you about Cambridge-I will PM you my number, call me when you get a chance.

Looks like the one I wouldn't want to have to run up against these guys all season, Ron has so many hours on that boat going fast he could probably run the course asleep

Ron and Ted,
I was wondering if you knew anything about an old A-Class raceboat that my friend and I purchased last year in Maryland.I believe the boat was raced in a few CBPBA races. It is a yellow 24ft Sunsation that was callled "Kryptonite".We are not sure what we are going to do with it yet, but we are finally about ready to at least start running around the bay here in Jersey.Thanks.

Mark

PS-Ron, I remember you and Frank running "Priority" on the USO circut.

Waterboy1, Chet G. and I raced the first 24ft. Team Sunsation in 91 or 92, the boat you have is not the origional race boat but the replacement!! Your boat was used as a play boat and may have run in one or two local races but should be in good shape!!! Did you get the motor and OMC drive?

Ron,
Thanks for your response. We knew the boat was a replacement for the original "Team Sunsation"...I remember that boat it was number A-56, white with multi-colored graphics, right? We bought the boat from Chet's friend Bob down in Shadey Side, MD.The hull is in excellent shape, but the gelcoat is really faded. We replaced the OMC Cobra drive with a new Bravo. How did the boat do in the races it entered? Thanks again, and see you in Point!

Ron,
The motor was not in the greatest shape, so we bought a used 468 with 450-500HP.We had the boat out a few times last fall and saw 70mph.We purchased the boat with the intentions of eventually racing it in P5.
