I’m not sure the original owners name, but pretty sure I heard it originally was on west coast would that make sense? I just bought the boat about a month ago so in the process of learning the history. Paint is totally different now, I tried to post a pic but apparently I haven’t posted enough on here yet to be able to do that haha |
Nope, Steve was east coast, Massachusetts. Good luck with the boat. I was looking for a 37 for a while, couldn’t find what I wanted. |
That was Steve’s boat based on the HIN number.

Oh cool, I spoke to Jeff? I think his name is at Competition Marine said he did the conversion to the 6s and was going to get me some pictures but I haven’t heard back. So it was originally bravos assuming, was it staggered originally? What was original power? Interesting to me learning about the history of the boat. Thanks guys! |

Nice boat. My cousin owned her for a couple years on LOTO. We took it to KW for the poker run 2011. He had the engines refreshed when he bought it. It had the competition marine engines in it at that time. Believe HP was around 800-900 per if I remember correct. I think there are some videos on you tube of her, that’s the owner before my cousin. We spent a lot of time in her on the lake. Acceleration was awesome. Very cool, fun boat. Enjoy her. Glad to see it’s getting loved still. Congrats! |
Donziben thanks! Do you remember what he was seeing top speed back then? I’ve only been behind the wheel for a grand total of about 20 minutes so far before the upstate ny winter closed in on me haha. Didn’t push it too hard till I learn the boat. Can’t wait for spring! |
Greg (lernin-t-fly's dad) told me Wild Card was 100mph boat every day and I think he said on its best days it would run 107-108 mph.
