Donziben thanks! Do you remember what he was seeing top speed back then? I’ve only been behind the wheel for a grand total of about 20 minutes so far before the upstate ny winter closed in on me haha. Didn’t push it too hard till I learn the boat. Can’t wait for spring! Best we ever seen was 107mph. It would run 100mph with 4 people on board all the time. It would start to get a little loose feeling around 102-103, nothing to crazy. He had two different size props, can’t remember the diameter and pitch. Interior and cabin looked pretty much the same when he had it as wild things pics. Except the dash panels were painted to match boat. |
I remember way back w/ blown bbc's and bravos the boat would run 108-9mph,,couple of times we would change the pulley's and jack up the boost and hit 114mph but it would eat up the bravos pretty quick.think I remeber them saying,1 time the best it ever saw was 118mph.
I'll check on the last top speed,but pretty sure thats what my friend said about that run.jason ventura may remember may have some info on it too. |
