I thought it had turbines. I've seen the clip in their web site. She rides nice! Good luck!

I own a lowly Baja and I would take a fountain in a second. As far as bang for the buck I don't think any boat out there can beat a Baja, but definately not the best in any other respect. On the other hand if money was no object I would definately buy an outerlimits!!

But lets face it an Outerlimits will never ever be as good as a Fountain

I give up. This OL/Fountain war is ridiculous. All of our boating is done on the Atlantic ocean. I love my OL. Fountains have a hard time running in the waters we run in. OL does not claim to be a race boat. Skater makes the race boat hulls. So then, is a fountain race hull a true fountain? (Mind you their new poker run boat is sweet.) Again...OL does not claim to be a race boat, it's an elite pleasure boat/poker run boat. That's it. Simple question, what is the top speed of a production fountain? This thread has gotten out of hand. It's like the pissing match that NASCAR fans have about their drivers. Also, can you compare any NASCAR make car to their street car? Earnhardt Jr & Gordon drive Chevys, Marlin drives a Dodge, & Kenseth drives a Ford, show me where these cars are on the road. It doesn't exist. These cars, just like any other race vehicle, are built for race specifications. So this entire comparison has got to stop!!!!!!!!! Because this speed comparison doesn't exist! So quit it already!

ALSO, why do you come to a forum and your 1st 3 posts are pretty much bashing OL and praising Fountain? Their is a way to do things and a way not to do them! Post something in the Fountain forum if you love them sooooo much!

You tell 'em Dee!!!

I wasn't going to bring it up but.......

Ole' wes176@bellsouth is forcing me to do so....

Hey wes, unfortunately some Fountains were passed by a 13' foot vee bottom "Bullet 130" packing 100hp in the NPBA NY Hudson River Poker Run....
I felt bad at the time and even offered my assistance, but they couldn't picture getting towed in by my boat....

I would have loved to have seen you towing one of them guys!

I just don't get these guys. Just be happy with what you got, and enjoy your toy! I try not to put others down, but I just don't get some of the Fountain owners......It's like the NJ Devil fans, when they win they come out of the woodwork with their big mouths, otherwise you never hear from them. I guess some people need to feel better buy putting others down. I'm just happy we are in the water. And when we can get together and take a run together it makes for a great day, no matter what boat you got!
