Re: 1998 37 complete remake

So far so good but have less than 5 hrs on them. Performance marine had installed some on a 38' Fountain with 1000hps about a year before mine and they seemed to hold up for them I'am currently changing the lower units to IMCOs to get the props deeper in the water, to much slip right now.

BBB725, looks really nice.

I remember Rod trying for a long time to peddle that boat. Glad you took interest and made it into a nice OL.

Good Ole' Rod............not surprised with what he is accused of. Hopefully not to many got burned. I was wondering who was running out of the old facilty. Thanks for the update.

Rod took alot more people than you think and for alot more money. Got me for three XZ drives and I was one of the lucky ones

Well I finally got it all back together again, turned down the boost redid the heads and stayed at 925hp. Put stronger springs in the water pop off valve and weaker springs in the mufflers. Pulled the drives put 1" spacers on with Imco lowers everything was ready to go except the weather is not cooperating. I leave tomorrow for Florida for a couple weeks so I guess I will wait till next spring to prop it.

BBB725 Who did your motors? They look great. Do you like the whipple chargers? Do they idle well?

Goodwin Competition in Omro Wi. They idle perfect and pull aton of power. I had ask him to pull some boost out of the motors from 10 to 6 he then redid the heads, the motors are still making 945hp.
