I have a set of 16.5 X 33 5 blade hearings that do not porpoise at all. Accelerates like a bat out of hell. I have them listed for sale in the swap shop...listed them yestereday.

My boat ran 103 as a high with the 675's, by adding inter coolers I picked up more hp and torque but only 100 to 200 add.rpms(5600 -5700 limiters are set low for longevity) ----most of the boats I compare to are running 6000 rpm motors at 975 to 1100 hp.(running 110-122mph) additionally my #6's are geared at 1.50 and so are Links , the purple boat is at 1.35, the brochure says my boat is 10,200lbs with #6's.

All in all I think for running 300-400 less hp and running 400 less rpms l will probably stick with 15 mph less than some of the others, or possibly try 1.35 gear change.

Best I can tell about 40mph faster than your girlfriends boat. Your welcome to come down here and line up her boat to find out.

DRG, enjoyed talking to you. I think the 18 degree produces more lift. I couldnt tell much difference with them. I think it may have been because they are 16.5 diameter and all the other props I have are 17 and 17.5.
