I heard they were hanging from the chain when the the boat was repoed ALL most got away with them... 89hs at one point.. but who knows if they are the original engines..

Heard a rumor someone may have bought it, showed up and the bildge was empty? Sounds like some funny business....

Anyway, the engines are definitely in the 46' I linked to above and the boat is ready to rock and roll!

I'm familiar with that boat in it's pre-repo condition.

The trip was amazing!! Fountainicbm met us at our hotel just as we arrived and was a great tour guide. Dan showed us around Bristol and Providence as well as answered tons of our Outerlimits questions.

Monday we went to the factory and met Fred, Mike and Pop. They took us around everywhere and we saw all kinds of boats in different stages of production.

After the tour we crawled through the 08 42 Legacy and the 08 41 SL. Both are amazing. Then we hit the water!!

Drove the 42 first ran into 3-4 seas and heavy wind, very impressive boat!! Loaded the boat up and then ran the 41, both were simply amazing!!!!!!! I cannot post pics here anymore but will email and will be loading on midwestboatparty.com as well as facebook.

Thank you to the Outerlimits team!!!!!!!!!

Difference in rides? 41 is about 38-39 running surface right?? Was the 41 about 10 MPH faster?

Can you give me the difference in ride of the new stepped bottom of the 41 vs the older 42.. I like both boats.. which rode better in the same seas..which felt more secure, and which boat had a softer landing.. Ive been on a few 42's..never a 41. Thanks Jeff

Yes the 41 is give or take 8-10mph faster. The 42 didnt have the correct props on it. Once again there is absolutly no boat out there that can run or handle with the SL series from Outerlimits!!

The 42 is a great boat and rides great. Its an all around larger boat in size room wise. The 41 bottom is amazing and Brett got to experience that! There is no vee bottom that runs the way this 41 does. The new 44 is in a league of its own as well. Everyone saying its only a 37,38,39ft boat is just blowing smoke. The 41 has just as much running surface as the 42 because of how flat the attitude of the boat is. You have to ride in one so you can fully appreciate how amazing this boat is and what it's capable of!
