when i called shrogren they said it ran high 98 100 that boat should easily hit 107+ with a 6 blade youl get a easy 5 to 6 mph gain the imco should be able to hold up with the 6 blades

Something is not set up correctly then. 5 Blade herings are fine. It should run low 100's fairly easy with tab in it. Do you know who put the motors and drives back in that boat?

5 blades are good for a 600 boat we bought new props for ours and were still playing around with them too get us in the 100 mph but the 5 blades just dont turn enough water the boat with 700s needs bigger prop

Dan is right, you're not seeing a 5-6mph difference on top end from a 5 to a 6...maybe midrange, but not top end...he should have no issue with the 5 blades....the stern lift from the 6...there's other factors at play here, not props...unless the pitch is totally off, if he's saying the same speed at 4500-5000...something's not right...
