Default Transom replacement

So Iím redoing the transom on my side by side 37 Stiletto and want/need some advice. Iíve heard I should move motors up 10Ē for better weight distribution. But canít find any real world results of anyone doing it. Any advice would be appreciated. Can also text me at 513-266-051six. Thanks.

How old is the boat that it needs a new transom? Or are you doing this for another reason?

It’s a 2000. It was severely neglected for years before I bought it.

Might not be that simple . The entire bulkhead will need to be moved forward and your cockpit will be smaller keep that in mind. But I would def call the factory
