I would think twice with a colored Gel over a quality color paint. Gel has a tendancy to fade over time and scratches in it can be a pain to match and fix. A quality paint will hold up much longer and give you that new boat look for years if maintained.
Its your boat, but I thought Id throw you an opinion from someone who has owned 15 or so boats thru the years

Speed Buff,
I know the darker colors are a "bear" to keep looking good over time, you might be OK with that yellow like KILLER BEE, that boat did look great. Still have not gotten a date from Pantera, supposed to be this week or next, keep your schedule open for that ride.

IMHO stay with white & go with vinyl that can be changed when you get tired of the look.
When are they planing to get your boat in the mold?
