Come on Tom , get that bad boy in the water while the air temp is still cool down there .
If you get some 2 foot chop under that bad boy , youll see 77 on the speedo , believe me .
Im not kidding about the 600 CI -
call me tomorrow if you get a chance .

Believe me, I'm trying for the last three day to get to the lake.
I'm going home to check it for leaks today before lunch and might be on the water in early afternoon.

OK jerry here you go. I didn't have my camera in the boat so I had to wait til I got back. When I made the run the fuel was between 1/2 and 3/4 slight chop and strong cross wind. I was alittle afraid to string it out with out another boat with me in case i had a malfunction and left myself stranded.( this is the firt time out sense I reassembled everythig)
This run went to about 5300-5400rpm hard to tell because my eyes were tearing so bad.
(forgot my goggles)

I had to adjust the idle mix screws just a tad to get it to idle in gear correctly. Other than that the boat had no issues so I'm going back tomorrow. I will take some picks of the gauges at speed so no one thinks I'm full of it

Re: tomcei winter project

Tom,
slight chop ? Looks like a goddam bathtub .
That hull needs 2-3 footers to loosen it up-
74 mph on the lake - Not bad !
What is the temp down there ? Was it humid ?
Dam that boat looks good !

You are the man ! Come work on my boat Tom.

It was smooth in the marina but the wind was 15-25 mph on the lake. temp was 70, not too humid. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

I'm just glad I'm not getting up early in the morning to work on the dang thing. I dont see how Jo and the boys do it. This one has surely kicked my butt
