What speeds do you think this boat runs at???
90? 95?
There are plenty of guys out there running 35-42 fountains in this speed bracket.

This boat has been on the mkt for 3yrs+.
I remember looking at it before i got my 24.

I think this 28 is a better buy. The cockpit configuration and 3A drive are a plus. If you dont like the graphics... sand and buff.

For this Pier57 boat to sell, its gonna have to go for 70-75k, not 90-100k.

Keep in mind, 95 mph in a 35 - 42 boat is like 70 in a 28 Pantera. These boats are a handful at 95 mph.

Albert will tell ya....and he aint scared of nuthin

Maybe so bruce, but just cuz it does 90, means its gotta be used at 90.
That drive may not last too long either.
But if you ran the boat at 60 all day, it would last plenty long.
Its a nice boat, but I don't think its worth $90,000.
Damn bruce, i could buy yours and repower and have 40+ to spare.

Lukie's boat is a better buy imo also. that 5man set up is sweet, and you can probably stick a few couples together in each.

You'de have alot more than 40 plus to spare if you bought mine.

40k with fresh power takes mine. i agree that a 3 man setup is not very desireable for a pleasure boat. Boat it makes a great bay bomber.

Remember boats have a special value in everyones intrest, I for one dont find myself owning a pleasure boat, however my theary of speed is done based on the size of the boat being a 28 not a 35-42. I for one know the limits on a 28 Pantera at high speeds, I can assure you whomever has tested that boat in the lake at Pier 57 got scared of the test ride of the speed of a blown 28 with a the race layup cockpit.

Not everyone feels comfortable strapped in a bolster going over 90 with the wind in your face and not a lot of experience in the wheel. It takes a special person to maintain a certain level of safety on speed and I for one feel that speed should be respected at any level of performance boating. In the 38 Cig race boat we can go 100 and it feels like we are a stand still compared to 100 in my boat.

All in all we all like fast boats, but dont forget that their is always someone else out their that can smoke you silly any given day. With that said we are as fast as the next boat passing us and leaving us with a spray of mist and a smell of fuel in the wake. Yes I would prefer the Pantera with the 3A speedmaster and the funny graphics just because I have seen the boat up close and it is gorgeous in every way except the size of Pantera head.

you got that right, miamiboys, its hard to imagine what you guys go through in a race at those speeds, hats off to your team, i have never gotten use to that feeling above 80mph, taken it into the 90-94 range only a couple of times, don't like it, very nervous, against a 40 hustler twin supercharged 900hp and another time a 36 cig gladiator twin staggered 750hp zuls, theres so much going on at that speed, an incredible rush, a frenzy, but i will admit scary, lots of blood pressure and adrenaline, after i pull the sticks back, I feel rattled, glad to be at cruise speed again, i think i am getting too old, your so right about respect, when i bought the boat, carl the oringinal owner shook my hand, his last words to me, he said, RESPECT IT be careful nick, PEOPLE CAN DIE IN THAT BOAT, i never will forget them.
