Panteras on Lake George

3 Attachment(s)
Hey Guys:

I had a chance to resize some photos from Lake George.

We had T-Mone, talon 25, Sonny Bonacio and I having some fun on the Lake. Hopefully T-Mone's sister will send me the photos she took and I'll post them soon.

Getting ready to have fun in LIS with talon25, his friend Trevor, T-mone, Jromy and Indy so far for the Glen Cove poker run. We aren't in it but we're going to watch those that are and have some fun. Should be 75, 25% cloud cover and 5 mph wind. YEE HAA!!

With the amount of Panteras on LG, people will be calling all HP boats..."there goes one o'dem Pantera boats". :D

They all look great together.

Looks like a good time. Too bad you had a run in with the water cops. What did you blow? I blew a 95.1 and got a nice ticket.

I wont be out in LIS on Saturday unfortunately. Hopefully you guys are around on Sunday.

I must say from a guy that has been boating on the Sound all his life, I really could be made to switch. The water and the scenery was just spectacular. I was surprised how long a lake it is and how wide.

Just beautiful Country.

Kind of nice not having to flush the motors and wash the whole boat down at the end of the day also!

Bernie,
No problem on the ride, come see me and we'll take a run.

Ron,
Too bad the weather was not great, the north end of the lake is just as nice as what you saw at the south.

Pantera owners,
Do you all think I could get at least one ride in one of your Pantera's before the season is completely gone. I still have yet to ride in one, and I won't be boating this season in mine cause I'm waiting for it to be completed. I will travel if you think that it would be cool for me to ride along. Just tell me the time, place and I'll be there.

I dropped my application in also and can't wait. Just have to finalize accomodations. Have my crew member all ready.

T-mone said that they will have all the Panteras dock together. Maybe we can bribe the Helicopter pilot to take some shots of us all.

Re: Panteras on Lake George

Looks like there will be a lot of us Connecticut guys up on the lake Oct. 7th. I grew up on that lake and it is nice to see organised events like this.

BTW, I got my fine today for blowing a 95.1 on the lake...50 bucks. No biggie...

Jeff,
Which pic's? The ones last year...yes that was full winter garb! I even had a Elmer Fud hat on. No bikin's that's for sure. No need to rub in that your out in warm weather, that's just uncalled for. Are you there full time now or still going back and forth? Going to be out in Vegas the first week of Jan, anything going on?

Re: Panteras on Lake George

Thanks Bob I will call you soon.

Sonny how's that thing running. Have you gotten a good top speed run with it yet? It should be a 100mph boat or pretty darn close.

I hope to be in the mid to upper 80's with mine. Should run pretty good I hope! I should probably start figuring out what props I should try. I'm thinking I'm going to start with a 28 and work from there maybe cut back to a 27 don't know. How are the hydromotive props on these boats anyone had any success?

Mike

Sonny Bonacio 09-18-2006 12:31 PM

Re: Panteras on Lake George

Mike,
Still playing with prop's, the 32's were running at 4800 r's top end 94-95. Put on 30's and the engin's up to 5200-5300 r's but did not pick up much speed. Sending out the 32's to get labbed. Does anyone have a good refrence who to send them too? I don't think I'll get to 100 but who knows, not too important to me, runs real strong 80-90 all day long.
