That boat is located at the shop that does most of my work. The asking price is down to 24900 I believe. The boat is in pretty good condition although I have not seen the interior. Not nearly as nice as the 24 I sold to Kirk
If you were interested, I could take a closer look.

Thanks Mark. I have already loked at the boat once, and was thinkin of lookin at it again. I was concerned about the fawct that it was tagged a 1977. Does htis mean that the hull was completed in 1977? Also, I heard that the owner was killed when he fell out of the boat and it ran him over. Not a commentary on the boat, just a creepy kinda thing.

If you are really interested in the boat you should give Jo Nunez a call. They are always willing to answer questions for prospective Pantera owners. they usually know the history on the boats they have built as well. They can certainly tell you the history and reason for the hull being tagged a 1977. The rest of the creepy story I dont know. I do know there was a 24 for sale a couple yrs ago where that situation did occur and the widow was selling the boat. It happened in Raritan Bay. Jo from Pantera had contacted me and asked me to send any leads his way. Is it possible that the story got confused with the boat you are looking at?

I called Jo and left a message. In the meantime I visited Proroc and saw the 24'. It shows some wear, but for a 1977 it's not a bad looking boat if you could get it for 20k. Of course a survey would confirm my thoughts.
On the other hand, the 24' was sitting next to a gorgeous 28' Pantera. Everything is relative.
