Had the motor on a dyno last week. The Pantera will be ready to hit the water within a week or so! I started it in the boat yesterday and it sounds more evil than ever!

Can't say I'm too dissapointed with the numbers

The sheets are with 93 octane (870HP@6000/9.5PSI). With 91 we got 856HP@6000/8.2PSI. I have not got the recorded files from the dyno yet.

Tomas nice numbers on the dyno !!

I'm sure its listed here somewhere but without me going through 28 pages of thread : Are you still running the steel heads ?? Also what cam are you running now ??

I ask b/c besides the bore & stroke our motors are very similar internally & cu" wise.. I am at 511 cu" with 4.375 bore x 4.25 stroke.. I was thinking your motor had ported 990's on it when you got it right ?? Also its funny b/c if I remember corectly our cams were nearly identical too , but not sure if you went back with it or changed it up ??
