With 31deg timing it was louder on the knock meter, going to 29 did eliminate the suspected knock spikes.
Would you like to explain what makes that secret formula better than the std jetting style with prim, sec and PV's? Best Regards, Dean Gellner Gellner Engineering Marine Power |

Hey Lukie,
It's going quite well - still lacking some power/speed though, still haven't passed 86mph this summer. :( Hoping to get my hands on a P5X during the winter. For the moment it's back on the trailer but there's a couple more events it will participate in. There has been way to much lack of boating this summer - and last... Haven't been in any bigger seas what so ever and that definately sucks! |

Hi Lukiepal,
I used Bruces old 28 Pantera just one season, 2006. Then I sold her to Pelle in Finland. I Believe he's working on it and she will be back on water 2010 or so. I miss that boat. The P4-4 are runnig just great. A Bit slow maybe... :D A funny thing is that we used Bruces old helmets prev weekend on race. Tomas as navigator and me driving, old school classic is the sh*t :D //Mange |

Thomas, taking timing away from a detonating engine is the correct way to go . I build probably more supercharged engines than most on this site and have no issues with burned pistons. Fuel delivery from pump size, location, fuel line size, filters ect...ect... is extremely important. I thought I had this conversation before. The original tune up we discussed should have been very close if everything else was correct. If there is anything I can be of assistance with please let me know. Thanks again!
