Kirk, Jo told me that Gail Paik did the paint. I'm sure you could get her to do your boat.
Thanks for the congrats guys. I'm hoping to have some better pictures to post today!

I am amazed by the difference too! It's a whole different animal. I was going to lengthen my driveway and keep it at home, but it's so much bigger I may just keep it in storage instead!
My boat has a Merc 525 SC (here's a photo and there's Griff!).
I'm blanking on the name of the guy who you bought your boat from (Randy maybe?). As I recall he said your boat had blower motors without the blowers. Is that right? I love those old school side opening race hatches with the scoops! Very sharp!

Yeah, They took off the blowers and install some Team G intakes with 850's. Compression is about 7.5 to 1 and it sill has the blower cams in it. I'm going to run it like that this summer then pull the motors and change the pistons and cams this winter.

Rocky, I saw that you called. I'm actually on a conference call right now! I'll give a shout in a bit.
Python, I think you made a typo in your post... You meant you're going to pull the intakes and accessory drives and stick on a pair of 8-71s, right!

Hi Sean,
Glad to know boat ran great for you out in the ocean.Pantera's are built for extreme offshore punishment !!If you need anything else for the boat just let me know.
I actually have the original graphic drawing "design" for your boat that was put together by Gail Paik put away. I will forward you a copy. Also have a photo of the 1st time the boat touched the water while testing. I will try and find it for you and post it.

Nick, have you splashed "Hot Stuff" yet?
I'm dying to make the run to Catalina and see what she's really got.
Griff, did I tell you that my wife has named the boat Corndog? An unwitting tribute to its home for the last 5 years (and an intentional tribute to what I refer to as "nature's perfect food")!

Jo that would be awesome. Thanks again!
Here's a couple of photos from Monday. Unfortunately, I think my buddy was hanging on rather than shooting pics once we got out of the inlet!
