I see 2's often but 4+ only a few times a year and that was a real thrill in the 24 at 75+. Have not been able to really challenge the 28 yet it is very sticky even in 2' s.

Joepaws, that's a classic. I would ride in true 5s as long as I was was a boat like yours with a pro at the wheel like Jo. I imagine that was quite a ride!

nah the heck with that. i like flat water and 91-92 calm and cool all the way. i dont know how u people like getting banged around it sucks.

Here's a couple of progress pictures. Empty bilge, 525SC ready to find a new home, oil pan notched to fit the notch. It's coming along.

There are quite a few boats that are fast. The real trick for me is to have a fast boat that rides like these Panteras do and does not begin to come apart. That being said, I am no hury to get out into true 5 footers!
