Joker, no....I asked you some time ago if you made them in house. You said you do, I sent you a PM and never heard from you. No big deal.

I'd agree with most everyone here and say sit down is the ticket. I've been sitting down in (small) fastboats for so long, that now with a 26' vee with standup bolsters, I keep the seat up (sitting position) 99% of the time. I'm already thinking about my next boat- I'm almost certain it's going to have to be a sit down. The 24 is a great looking boat, I think sit down is the ticket. I'm not a fan of high-back buckets though. I'd cut them down to shoulder height or lower? Also, I think it's important to consider a strong foot rest in just the right position angled off of the floorlike the cats.

I was just checking out new seats for my jetboat just the other day....- came across some good websites:

http://www.twinmarine.com/

http://www.ppi-fl.com/begin.html

http://www.hottopsmarine.com/racingbolsters.htm

http://www.bolsterseating.com/

Good luck. Keep us posted.

Why not a comprimise???????? Make them primarily as sit down seats, but make the bases high enough that you can drop the bottom out??????
Just tossing out ideas. I have never seen 24 up close to see the freeboard to know if this would work.

do i have to post my opinion in this thread too?
From reading here, the only obstacle i see is the budget.

I like the sit down as well. My python had sit down seats and there was no problem sitting and docking. Another plus for me was that my sit down seats swiveled - so when I was kicking back in a cove I could turn both seats around and lay my feet up on the bench. So really I could have three people kicking back with legs streched out. Your wife will love this feature. I never had a problem coming out of the seat because I had a good foot rest, but I can't say the same for my passengers
