I highly doubt that boat could be bought without the engine and drive. I think I remember reading that it was the lady's husband's boat and he passed away. Can't imagine that she would have much to do with those leftovers.

I would look at every boat as a project. There are always things you're going to change.

Reasonable price.
The boat is 'uckin Fugly though.
Needs paint and new interior.
But the base you're working with is worth throwing a few $$ at it.
