thanks guys.
I am getting pretty close on a deal for a boat. Dont want to say much yet.
Saw Bad Medicine 28 Apache today in Phoenix. The owner was really a nice guy but the boat needed alot of work and the guy said he was only seeing 70mph with twin 700's.
engines had 200 hours, looked nice.
I would say it was a 5 out of 10 with two points due to the fact it had APACHE on it.
He said one of the drives kept blowing up because of some reverse gearing deal the original owner had installed. I didnt really understand the concept so Iapologize for explaining poorly.
I may be a Pantera owner soon if this deal works out. It is not a boat listed for sale and I dont want to say much so I dont jinx it.

yah it seems like the owner of Bad Medicine doesnt really give a **** about the boat or fixing it/restoring it, he doesnt really know how rare it is and doesnt appreciate the fact that alot of guys would DIE to have a sweet 28 Apache and treat it like a baby
he is a god guy though and if anyone needs pics of the boat or info if they are looking at making a run at it fire me a PM and I can send pics and we can talk about the condition. I crawled around it for a good 45 mins.

I've still got the owners email address if anybody wants it. The engine was rebuilt at 200hrs (had some bad gas, per the owner) The engine was bumped up a little during the rebuild. Its got a new XR drive. I believe the XR drive and rebuild have about 50hrs now. It was a good buy, asking $55K last I saw.
