I'm fixing the leg room issue with angled aluminum foot wells. I hope to have this project complete pretty quick. I'll post some more pics as I clean it up a bit and install the angled foot rests and seat assemblies.

Wow!! From here it appears that you will have really good footrest geometery when seated. Good Luck!!

Very good idea Tom.
I'm already getting ideas for mine. Never thought of doing that. In my cabin, that space is kinda wasted anyway -except for storage. And I was already considering building bulkhead lockers on each side for a little enclosed storage.

With the hole cut, you're now comitted.

Looks like a good solution. Mr Wallin will do the same to his 28 Pantera. And he talk about foot throttle to.
Foot throttle is great belive me!! I put that in my 28 Arrow and its like you and the boat are the 100% the same unit. Amazing!

Keep up

it should work out as an arm rest on the starboard side in the cabin.

I modified my seats so the bottoms were 4" lower and it made a huge difference. The seats come up on your back higher and lock you in better and your foot bracing is much more comfortable. I never run standing up.

Tom, that looks like it will work out great! And that photo... that looks like me "installing" the new rear suspension in the Camaro! :D

How about just adding a motor/lift to the drop out bolster that you can stop the drop out at any position? These are factory installed on ATs and a lot of other boats, and it works great for infinite adjustments.
