Pantera 28 For Sale????????
#61
We delivered a couple of new 24s in the last 4-5 months and still offer the 24' model. Our plans are for now to run the new twin stepped bottom with a single engine application and if a customer wants a twin engine the insert can be removed from the mold.
We will offer the 28' model with a twin stepped or as a full 24 degree deep v.I think when most customers looking for a new single engine 28' see the increase in performance from the new bottom they will not opt for the full 24 degree deep v version.

The Motors are sitting here in my shop with a deposit on them & will be heading to Tempe Arizona in a couple weeks to go in a 29 Mirage....
The drives are resting quietly in my garage....
& yeah I agree it is a bit of work but its the only way I can even think of playing in this game !! I function on a second rate budget with first class taste !! Which can make for interesting projects & long hours at times.....

The Pantera ran & handled Great with the twin small blocks in it... I ran the boat for the most part of last summer & had a blast in it !! I ran the boat in 3-4 footers wide open when I test drove it & it handled like a dream & was balanced Great !!
If I had not already had the Saber I would have no doubt kept the boat & you guys would be have probably already seen a few in progress pics of it getting a complete work over.
When it comes to the 28 Pantera it doesn't matter whether it is a Single BBC , Twin SBC's , or Twin BBC's , Conventional V or the new T/S You won't be going wrong because they are all great boats & are built with a ton of Care & Quality !! But I think we will all agree about that one....

It went to Hialeah FL & if I was betting I would have to lean towards it ending up wet. It went to a great guy who comes from family who loves classic offshores.

I must respectfully disagree, have you priced a new Pantera?
Have you checked the blue book prices on this boat?
I have had a lot of interest in this boat, and several
offers to trade it, I haven't found the trade I am looking for yet.
Danger Kittys boat is a great boat as are all Pantera's, but it is 2 years older.
Sounds like you have a budget and you don't want to spend more than that
which is fine for you but don't trash boats out of your price range.
Every one wants a newer Pantera but they want it at a ridiculously low price.
If you ask me the Pantera's are priced too low compared to other boats on the market.
I.E. Powerboat mag did an article last year on a a 26' Baja with a 525hp motor.
MSRP Price? Approximately 170K......YIKES!
IMO It won't cut the rough stuff as well as a Pantera will.
There is a 2001 Pantera listed in the classifieds for 60K,
so asking 78K for my 3 year newer 2004 for is "way to much"?
BTW, I don't NEED to sell it and if I don't then I will happily
boat again this summer in an excellent riding, turn key,
cost effective single engine, custom built boat that none
of my friends has.

That is my .002 cent worth.....The art of the deal……
You don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate!

Anybody see the 2007 28 pantera listed in boattrader. Single 650hp for $99K http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/9/5/91631895.htm
Looks like a good deal. I kicked the tires just to see what he paid for it new............$140K. The owner is a really nice guy.
Wild Thing - I agree.......mostly because its a twin and not a single, but thats just a preference and I'm sure a lot of buyers will disagree if they prefer the single.
