Tom! Looks awesome. I may have to try that when I go sit-down.

I have played with the seat bottom at different angles.
It feels very nice. I like several settings and the foot well works nicely.
I'm trying to finish the fit this weekend before I send the boat out of town and the parts to the powder coater.
I will take some pics for those interested showing different leg and seat positions.
I found that I don't need much foot well action until the seat drops down and the stance is fairly aggresive.

I'm sure the sweet momma seats are #1, but after checking out different angles on the bolster bottoms, I don't think I would opt to convert. I like the way the bolsters attach to the rear bench. Besides this way I can still have the stand up. and the seated position is very comfy

finally finished the grinding to fit these things.
I think they will blend in well once they are white and have some polished mounting hardware.

Could it be the extended strake, small pad and transom notch upgrade?

Kirk, I'm not a big dude at all. just over 5'9"
I am a lot more comfortable now that my toes can go past the cockpit bulkhead. This will give me many options as I raise and lower the seat bottom.

Chris, I'm making the bottom from the last 4'-6' dead nuts straight.

Tim, if you want the option of fully extending your legs while
buried in the seat and pressing against a flat/ angled surface then it's a no brainer.

I'm hoping for good weather next weekend (and not having to go into work) to start mocking up my seats and having bases fabbed.
I really like the cutout boxes/footrests - I'll have to see how that would work in mine.
